Help Flarum founders do it faster

I love it. Is first topic, why not open a donation with goals specifics? If we want Flarum release a stable version for production as soon as possible, maybe founder can give a timeline with targets, each targets maybe need a x mount of investment, if the donation come to have sufficient then the team can go ahead(maybe need hire more coder, or maybe founders can do it like a sustainable project or job).

Money isn't the thing that Flarum needs. There are currently a couple of ways you can donate to the cause of course via a PayPal donation or by subscribing to Patreon however something that cannot be bought that is essential is time.

We already have The New & Improved Flarum Roadmap that you can reference to see what our developers have in the way of targets and milestones, but to go as far as saying 'how much money to get to x' is not what they're about and not exactly a full-proof way of showing how quickly we can get to a specific version (or any version for that matter). We post up release updates as they come and try our best to ensure the community knows exactly where Flarum is at as development progresses.

Have a ready through the forum and update yourself on the Meta tag. There is a lot of information that have answered many of your questions already. ?

Prosperous yes i do agree with you, but still i think problem is less peeps in core team. Though therr are hundreds of contributors in extension area but core team have only few of active developers which lags the progress of flarum by breaking the proper coordination btwn core team and enthusiasts. So i personally liked @kmk 's idea, just think abt some kickstarter projects if we can set a goal we can do it faster. I know the core team is trying best to provide rather than holding up for money but if we could pay up people for contributing in cire team then it'd probably make the progress faster

PranavJadhav There are three core developers and each one of them are active. They may not be posting every day here on the forum but they are each actively doing their part behind the scenes. Just because you cannot see it doesn't mean the cogs aren't going. ?

This has been addressed a few times already and the answers aren't going to change. Toby has a target for his project and they are all working their best on this project. Rushed work isn't going to make things better and financial backing isn't an issue at the moment.

If negative, the only thing we ask is that it is constructive criticism. Whilst we cannot please every single person's request we can do our best to ensure what we have is of the upmost quality and works seamlessly.

Yes...as the dev as admin(people want to use Flarum as their communication platform) all we want and hope better thing for Flarum.....

Whilst that may be true I personally wouldn't want too many people working on my project. It would bring about more issues as more people means more ideas which means more differences in opinion which means more conflict.

I think the best thing to do at the moment is to be patient and see how things pan out. Toby, Franz and Daniel are all doing amazing jobs getting things on track and ensuring things are being done whilst at the same time concentrating on real life matters, commitments, etc. Remember, this isn't a company or other corporate entity. These are individuals who are doing this part-time.

Anyone can assist right now by helping out with fixing bugs and helping out with extensions of course. It's just a matter of time before we can have a finished product that is stable. In the meantime, you can definitely be confident about installing your own instances of Flarum right now. Just go easy on extensions and modifying any code to prevent issues upgrading/updating for future releases.
