Flarum on Heroku won't work due to ephemeral filesystem

Hello!
First of all - appreciate your efforts putting Flarum together!

I am trying to run Flarum on Heroku (https://discuss.focusasia.xyz), right now it shows me

"The directory is not writable.
Please chmod this directory and its contents to 0775."

but I did chmod all files/dir there - any reasons why its happening? Link to info.php file -> https://discuss.focusasia.xyz/info.php

Is that because of HTTPS? Mod_rewriting doesn't work?
I tried many different things, but nothing works so far, appreciate any suggestions, especially if you also tried to run Flarum on Heroku.

justshipit What OS are you running? CentOS? Debian? Ubuntu?
It's pretty clearly a permissions issue and if you're 100% sure you set the primary directory to 775, then something is keeping it from writing..

[FOUND REASON] Because of Heroku's ephemeral filesystem, every time I close session, it changes files permissions. I am moving to another hosting.
