Start a discussion via URL or Bookmarklet?

Is there an option to start a new discussion by passing parameters through the URL or having a bookmarklet?

So that you could for example have a Bookmarklet in your browser and when you click on it the current page URL plus some custom tags are auto-inserted into a start discussion popup.

This way Flarum could work as a collaborative link sharing system a bit like Shaarli etc.

With such a link a "share on Flarum" option could also be implemented on other pages, for example the RSS reader FreshRSS I am using has a really easy to modify "share as" option that would allow sharing links on Flarum with other users for discussion really easily.

Negative, Flarum has a very robust API that you can tap into though. We are far from the days where we even accept parameters for super globals such as $GET and $POST or even SQL parameters within a URL at that.

I would suggest that you familiarize yourself with the Flarum Extension ecosystem as well as both the JS and PHP API of it respectfully.

Ralkage It could be done client-side though. An extension could extend the discussion composer so it looks in the url for default values. There could also be something to trigger the opening of the composer when the page loads.

What could also be done is a separate, simpler composer, which can accept that kind of parameters and submit them to the API. Kind of like the Twitter composer modal which is opened by share links on web pages.
