Changing URL Structure

I want to change the URL structure of a small part flarum. I am looking into the PHP files were a thread/topic URL uses /d/and I would like to change it to something like /topic/ for the URL.

Is there an easy way to do this for the current URL structure of the platform ?

I strongly believe making this change will help urls in the long run for SEO factors.

TravenWest they are not yet customizable. And editing the core will prevent easy upgrading in the near future.

TravenWest Please bear in mind that Flarum is still only beta software, and SEO is one of the things that needs to be developed. There's even an issue for it on the issue tracker. Feel free to add your suggestion there, if you think it would help to improve SEO for all Flarum users.

luceos I kinda forgot about that part. That is my bad not thinking about it still being in Beta and having to be upgraded.

Dominion I junk think that I can do that, along with contribute some proof of concept code for going about it (if that would help at all).

TravenWest No problem, you could try making an extension for it, but I guess it should be supported from the core instead.
