I'm looking to create a forum. I would like to use DreamHost, but it doesn't list if it's compatible or not. I'll send an email to them if no one here knows. :3

failedfetus Installed Beta 2 on my DreamHost VPS, I needed to add "extension = fileinfo.so" to my "/home/user/.php/5.6/phprc" file. Running great, it's helping me get used this new fangled forum.

It should be. Flarum should work fine on all of the shared hosting plans.

Directly from laravel.com (the framework that Flarum is somewhat based on):

PHP >= 5.5.9
OpenSSL PHP Extension
PDO PHP Extension
Mbstring PHP Extension
Tokenizer PHP Extension

DSitC Not all of these will be required because Flarum does not use the complete Laravel framework.

The PHP and PDO requirement I can guarantee are required.
