How to programmatically hide the "Change Password" button?

I use only OAuth providers to authenticate users, so the "Change Password" button in the profile view does not have any usefull functionality. Is there a way to deactivate or hide this button?

You could use this custom CSS to hide it:

.Settings-account .item-changePassword {
    display: none;
}

Add it in the admin panel > Appearance > Custom CSS

Oops I thought this was a duplicate of your other question, but there's actually a bit of difference.

Same answer though, if you just care about looks, you can use CSS.

If you want to block the feature, an extension will be necessary. Not sure what controller / events are used for password changing from the settings. Maybe there's a whole route that can be easily blocked.
