Hi! ? Perhaps i overseen something, but is there a Nextcloud Integration of Flarum available? https://esotalk.org/ had something like this, but i am not sure if it is already too old to use.

mangotasche clarkwinkelmann It looks like it would be used for file uploading. Maybe a Flagrow Upload adapter?

What part of NextCloud would you like to integrate ? Use as an upload file driver ? As a login provider ? Add a NextCloud file selector inside Flarum ?

I'm not familiar with what exists between NextCloud and Esotalk.

I have Nextcloud integrated with the Flarum users through the user_SQL plugin, which works great, but I hope in the future there will also be an easy full SSO option.

luceos i just wrote an issue.

The current problem with Nextcloud is, that there is absolutly no way to comment or discuss something. But these features are crutial for team working. I know that there are chat plugins, but a chat room is not a discussion board... I hope that this will work with flarum, since it looks like a really nice solution.

A plugin should seamlessly integrate into nextcloud and use the same login data etc. from the cloud.

mangotasche that would be interesting indeed. I guess your description here is getting a bit outside the scope of a Flagrow Upload driver though.

If going full integration I guess a Flagrow plugin to install in owncloud would make more sense if you'd like to create/interact with discussions in-context.

Discussing files and including files in discussions can be two very different things in term of the user interface wanted. What were you more thinking of ?

Commenting on files is already possible in Nextcloud, so this would really be about community building and coordinating work on a larger set of files.

I know this message thread is now over a year old -- but it discusses the exact reason I found myself here.
I recently got NextCloud 16 up and running in an iocage jail on my FreeNAS server at home, and I've configured it so my friends can sign in and create their own user accounts (via a registration plug-in for NextCloud). Then, I modify their access levels to suit to grant them access to several shared folders I've set up, and have a chat plug-in installed so they can chat with each other when they're online simultaneously. It feels like the big item it's missing is a message forum, though. And from everything I read on NextCloud's help site, there's really no developer interest in building one into it. (Very disappointing, IMO.)

I'm struggling a bit with any kind of forum software that has to run in a separate virtual machine from my NextCloud, simply because I'm running on a broadband connection with only one IP address (no static IPs). Can't afford to cloud host forum software externally though, for just a personal project like this.

There is something like plugin to integrate esotalk : https://github.com/mroi/nextcloud-esotalk. It is up to date with current version of nextcloud but esotalk itself seems to be dead project. How much flarum is different from esotalk ? Do you think could be possible to adapt esotalk plugin for flarum board ?
