I don't see that there are plans to implement an administration page for user management. It seems this would be a vital feature in core. As it seems to stand, an administrator can only manage a user via the user's profile page. And, an administrator can only know that a new user has signed up if that user has taken some action on the forum (or by manually keeping tabs on the user DB table). Thus, for user administration, I propose two features:
- An administration page that lists all users and allows management of each user's role(s), viewing of online statuses, etc.
- Options for email or in-forum notifications to admins when a new user has signed up for the forum.
I'm posting here first for discussion. We can re-post to Github if they are well received.
