There is no release date for the stable version. However plenty of people have started using Flarum in its current shape on their live websites already. We'll do our best to ensure you can upgrade, but for now it's wise to install only extensions from active developers, because the upcoming beta (8) will most likely not be compatible with existing extensions (excluding languages).
