SMTP Mail not working

Hi,

I entered the right data in the SQL Table with PHPMyAdmin, but it always gives me out an error. I tried two email addresses (Gmail and Jimdo), but both don't work.

My setup:
Ubuntu 14.04
MySQL 5.6
Nginx

Did that work for anyone? Is there a solution?

You might have to open up your SMTP ports on your server if you haven't yet. Probably not a bug.

Please use the search to find the countless other reports of smtp not working. If none of these solutions work I suggest you wait for beta 3.
