Not disabling extensions

Tried to upgrade from beta 2 to beta 3 and unfortunately forgot about disabling extensions first. Is there any way of disabling them from the database and running the upgrade scripts again?

Now only the header is displayed in Safari and Firefox pulls out language strings to the main page, admin is not working at all.

Tried fixing permissions, every other upgrading step was done.

Restored a backup, completed all the required steps. Now I get this:

Finally found in another thread:

UPDATE `settings` SET `value` = 'en' WHERE `key` = 'default_locale';

Now everything works perfectly, it seems that even after switching default language back to english and disabling the language extension flarum fails to change that in the database.
