Anonymous54 Microsoft is slow to adapt new certificate authors.
Internet Explorer is being discontinued (depreciated and phased out) by Microsoft in favor of their new Edge Browser (App).
While it is bundled still in Windows 10, it is hidden (by default) and was only included for backward app compatibility and it will receive only security updates (no new features).
Certificate author updates do count as a security feature, but I would have no idea when they next push an update for it.
