CNAME record doesn't redirect to my forum on FreeFlarum

Hello,

I set up this forum on Free Flarum: https://lddg.freeflarum.com
I wanted to use forum.ledroitdeguerir.com to keep the brand identity of my society, so I went to the user panel of my web host and added a custom DNS record for my subdomain forum.ledroitdeguerir.com:
CNAME lddg.freeflarum.com
I did that on Saturday. Now, when I try to access forum.ledroitdeguerir.com on my browser, the browser times out. Any idea what I missed?

I get a certificate warning because the hostname is not matching *.freeflarum.com; have you configured freeflarum to accept your new domain?

Hello, thank you. Yes, I came back to the Free Flarum admin area, and under "Custom domain", I clicked "Save".
But I just saw what was wrong...In the textarea, the domain typed was lddg.freeflarum.com instead of forum.ledroitdeguerir.com

What is in the textarea of your admin area of Free Flarum? (Under Settings > Custom domain)

@Sanguine can you provide a better way for people to resolve these kinds of questions. Alternatively provide a clear way for asking for support? We've been giving support to the best of our knowledge about your platform, but I only see the support load is increasing.
