Non-caching .js file

Debian 7 + Nginx + php5-fpm backend

I've noticed significantly increased loading times recently
After running it against firebug it turns out I'm downloading about 1.4MB in a js file each time I visit the site using firefox 42!
Anyway to tell the client to cache it?

Go figure - in firebug I had caching disabled when open, I must of disabled it at some point during the upgrade

Kulga anyways there is a way with node.js to minify the js file. In future i heard it will be minifyied automatically (:

Disable debug mode in config.php and delete assets/*.js to enable minification. We'll have something in the UI to make this more obvious in the future.
