about final release (server requirements)

Hi guys, I would like to know if will be possible to install final release on a shared hosting (as it was possible with beta1-2).

dehbuff Yeah like the posts above me, they mentioned that it's their goal eventually to allow shared hosting without SSH.

But, I don't see why you couldn't just use a VPS to host it. Some are extremely inexpensive for what you're provided.

DigitalOcean offers them for $5/month! 🙂

I believe that this is their goal, right now due to the way that it is still in beta they have made versions 4+ only able to install via ~~symphony~~ Composer. Toby did state however later on that they would address this, either with a slightly different version or something else.

KnownSyntax, I believe that would be versions 3+, not that it makes much of a difference. 🙂

I run my own servers and provide hosting to several clients on a shared environment. Flarum can work flawlessly and you can use composer via SSH for these kind of installations within a shared environment as long as it is configured properly.
