How To Install Beta 4

Hi Guys ,

Iam still new to this forum script I tried to Install Beta 4 on my Ipage account and I found out that I need to write this command :
composer create-project flarum/flarum . --stability=beta

In my Forum folder using php composer and I have No Idea how to do this ? Is there any walk through or tutorial about how to do this for noobs ? 😃

BTW Ipage has php composer installed on my account by default

MidoBianconeri I found out that my hosting dosent support ssh is there anyway I can install flarum ? since I need to try it so bad

MidoBianconeri currently without ssh access there's no way to install it as far as I know.

MidoBianconeri You have two options:

Look for a host with SSH support.
Use Composer on your own computer to prepare Flarum and then upload all files. That would mean you cannot install any additional extensions, though.

MidoBianconeri Installation instructions can be found at https://getcomposer.org/

Our Composer instructions remain the same, except that you need to copy all the files to your server once Composer is done.

Franz Thanks , one last question though ( Sorry ) I heard that Beta 2 dont need composer to install it's just to download the files and upload to the hosting account then Install it ( such as any other script) is this true ?
