Idea! ? I'm full of 'em. As well as ?.

An extension which auto replies to certain posts. So, if someone says, "I'm getting an error after installing an extension." It sees "error," "install," and "extension," and instantly replies: Clear your cache and do x, y, z.

010101 It can lead to meaningless answers. But if it gets tested on a demo server and powered by machine learning, it will get so smart and useful.

I will be a volunteer to improve it!

I suggest DialogFlow that has machine learning and makes it so easy to improve and make it smarter.

We had discussed this as a Flagrow extension idea at one point, but it's really complex to get right, as rightfully pointed out by arda

Does such an extension already exists for other forums so we could see how they chose to do it ?

I think an extension for mods to easily insert pre-written answers would be a lot more useful for a lot less effort.

Of course if we can get machine learning in there... But good luck with that ?

clarkwinkelmann I found a similar extension for another forum. But it's literally an auto responder. It just says, someone will respond soon. Pretty pointless. ?

Yeah, never mind. Maybe instead if it was done somehow so it wasn't annoying and didn't slow down Flarum, some type of related posts extension could serve the same purpose.

But, the more I think about it, I don't think I'd use such an extension. I just feel like it would clutter things up.

I like simple.
