erlend_sh Facebook's HHVM is gaining quite the foothold: HHVM on Wikipedia HHVM at Etsy HHVM at WP Engine Best of all, it's supposedly 100% compatible with Laravel (and already available via Forge). I hope HHVM is something you'll take into account early on. The hype factor could bring great publicity, and the performance savings could be quite crucial for communities that need to keep costs as low as possible.
Franz That's already on the horizon. Once we have unit tests, we will automatically run them on Travis CI for different versions of PHP as well as HHVM. Thanks for the reminder. =)
benovermyer Keep in mind that one of the core pieces of Laravel, Carbon, doesn't play nicely with HHVM in some situations.
erlend_sh Well, since Laravel's own Forge is offering HHVM, they must be confident it's not a major problem.
