Permission problem (with flarum v0.1.0-beta.3)

I installed flarum v0.1.0-beta.3 using composer, but I have a problem with permissons. I chmod 775 on the root directory flarum, but flarum said Please chmod this directory to 0775.

Additionally, I enabled PHP-extension DOM, but flarum said The PHP extension 'dom' is required.

Check the folder owner/group. Set it with chown to the user your php instance depends on (generally www-data).
I have it owned by my own account and set the group to www-data.

I chown apache:apache on root flarum folder and it work. Good!

But not true that PHP extension DOM is not enabled.

Additionally, I try upgrade from beta 3 to beta 4 but not success

$ sudo composer update
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies (including require-dev)
Nothing to install or update
Generating autoload files

I change this https://github.com/flarum/flarum/compare/v0.1.0-beta.3...master
and then success update

sudo composer update

But still not true that PHP extension DOM is not enabled

I have successs install beta 4, but still not true that PHP extension DOM is not enabled

Oops! I just restart httpd and flarum work! =)

Beta 4 shows up as beta 3 in the control panel.

I faced the same problem of 'The PHP extension 'dom' is required' and a 'reboot' helped me out of this. Don't quite understand why.XD

+1 on "chown apache:apache on root flarum folder and it work", thanks a lot for this.
