Extensions installation not working on Yunohost app

Im running Yunohost and successfully installed the Flarum package:
https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/flarum_ynh

When im now trying to install the extension Flarum Pages:
https://discuss.flarum.org/d/2605-pages
in terminal (/var/www/flarum) on Yunohost by running the command:

composer require sijad/flarum-ext-pages

i get:

-bash: composer: command not found

Im i doing something wrong?

Without composer the Flarum way of installing extensions is not available to you, However, the installation instructions of the read me file of your YunoHost Flarum package mentions the possibility to install Bazaar together with Flarum. That way you should be able to install most other available extensions as well.

flarumer1, if you encounter errors with Flarum on YunoHost, please first check if it is not YunoHost's fault first. 🙂

It is not explicitely stated anywhere, my bad, but composer is actually installed in Flarum's directory. The following commands would have worked:

cd /var/www/flarum
./composer.phar require sijad/flarum-ext-pages

Anyway, as others stated, with the inclusion of Bazaar directly upon the app installation, there should be minimal need for CLI now. 🙂

Yes, i have the Bazaar extension installed and i have now enabled it.

I may try to get Composer installed on Yunohost just to test it out.
Are there any advantages installing extensions using Composer in terminal over Bazaar?

Pollux As mentioned via the Yunohost provided method.

I do not know if Composer will work on their server, as I recall this method was developed as a workaround.

flarumer1 Nope, no advantages, it's exactly the same. Bazaar is actually nicer b/c it lets you know about updates.
