DevBiiTz Hello, I have seen some forum using your cms and I loved it, I would like to know if you recommend to wait and install the new Beta 8 or install an older stable version Beta6 or Beta5. I await your answers, have a good day and thank you.
Pollux DevBiiTz It doesn't make sense to use any beta version prior to the latest beta 7.1. The only alternative is to wait for the upcoming beta 8. If you've fallen in love with Flarum (like so many others before) there is no need and no benefit to wait for beta 8, especially if you restrict yourself to the core software, the stock extensions that come with Flarum and some reliable and well maintained extensions like Sijad's Links and Pages extension or Flagrow's Upload extension. Upgrading to beta 8 should be hassle free in this case.
DevBiiTz Ralkage Franz Pollux Ok, I think I'll use the beta 7.1, what happens that I tried to install it in xampp / windows and when I create a post it does not stop me from making mistakes someone knows why it is, Thanks and a big hug <3
Ralkage Beta 7.1 is as stable (beta) as you can get right now my friend ? Never go downwards in number! (unless instructed to do so otherwise)
jordanjay29 DevBiiTz Are you getting an error when trying to post? Since you're using XAMPP, check to see that it's using PHP 7.1, and not 7.2. Flarum won't be compatible with 7.2 until Beta 8, and will experience errors if you're using it now.
