When new topic notifications popped up at the root of flarum (https://discuss.flarum.org). You have a yellow box that says "Show _ Updated Discussions".
When that message is pressed, the list of topics are updated. This is where it gets me.
Because there are sticky posts at the top of the forum and other posts at the bottom, it is not clear that which got updated. This applies to:
~ View all discussions
~ Left sidebar
~ View all discussions in a tag
~ Basically anywhere with the new post notification
I hope you guys can understand what I'm saying.
Q1. Perhaps we could make the new (or updated) posts flash in yellow color when the notification box is pressed? As shown below? Probably with a lighter yellow and flash for about 2 seconds?
Q2. How does the pusher works? It took quite awhile for this topic to get notified in another tab that was on https://discuss.flarum.org
Other suggestions or ideas welcomed.
