I installed the Users List extension and noticed that I'm getting a lot of accounts being created. What's the best way to prevent these accounts from being created? A challenge during signup like reCaptcha should do the trick but I'm looking for the best way to do this without an extension.

Also, what's the best way to purge these accounts?

Everything in the Flarum ecosystem is an extension. Aside from obscuring your website itself and lowering your SEO rank to make yourself harder to find, I can't recommend anything to you that isn't an extension. ReCAPTCHA and Akismet (installed by default) would be my recommendations.

Jenxi You could try removing them from the database, but this could easily break your forum.
