Problem with "package"

Hello!
I am on a shared hosting with SHH, but everytime I try to install I get this error

[InvalidArgumentException]
Could not find package home/forum with stability beta

With the command: composer create-project home/forum . --stability=beta

Composer was installed perfectly with no errors...

Hi, the command should be

composer create-project flarum/flarum . --stability=beta

Make sure you are in the correct folder where you want your forum ?

jordanjay29 I did not work with that but, I went to the directory I want to have the forum, did
"composer create-project flarum/flarum --stability=beta" and the it created a folder called flarum with the forum....
I try to move the files but one of them says it can be moved because the directory is not empty

It seems you are missing a dot ( . ) between flarum/flarum and --stability=beta

It needs to be: ( If you don't choose to define a custom folder like Jordanjay29 did in his example. )

composer create-project flarum/flarum . --stability=beta

[InvalidArgumentException]
Project directory ./ is not empty.

The thing is, it is empty, lol

Does it still contain the /flarum folder?
It needs to be completely empty from both folders and files

andreherberth Okey, not is working! Im using a subdomain, so would I did is re-create the subdomain in a new folder, and now it works perfectly! Thanks a low for your time! andreherberth jordanjay29

Well, you would not believe this, I got another problem ?

Trying to install it I get this:

Something went wrong: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1067 Invalid default value for 'notifications_read_time' (SQL: ALTER TABLE fl_users CHANGE notification_read_time notifications_read_time DATETIME DEFAULT 'NULL')

SrPeter Do you know if your host uses MariaDB? Found some reference to your error in this Github Issue flarum/core1211

Though, it seems if you host does use MariaDB 10+ you are stuck waiting for Beta 8 :/

Maybe someone else can confirm or prove me wrong

andreherberth Yep, It is using MariaDB 10+... So... I have to wait until the update? ?

SrPeter MariaDB 10.1 will work, 10.2+ is incompatible. If you downgrade it should work fine.

andreherberth Close, 10.2 is the first non-working version. This fix has been added, but I don't recommend manually changing Flarum files to fix it.

jordanjay29 I cant downgrade, its a shared hosting, so.. I will wait for the Beta 8!
