I find 『New JS Extension API』 issue is moved to 『0.1.0-beta.10』. So the extension will be upgraded again in beta10 after adapting to beta8?

cccRaim Flarum is by no means an awesome piece of software. But as it's pushed forward only by the passion of the developers - I don't think they make any money from it - things like that could happen. Two weeks ago, with almost tears in my eyes looked at one of the Flarum's evil brothers for my site as I didn't know how to load a js file, nor didn't find a response on Flarum community.

IIRC the new Js extension API will be backwards compatible, so it likely won't break much.

ckubs I donate $1 in patreon, so I think they can get money from it, lol. But the document is not concentrated, so I can't find the right document when I build my site first time, it's really.

ckubs Are you talking about Flarum's costs? If so, I'd like to know where you get your information, since you seem to know more than the Flarum team does.

ckubs flarum.org runs on github pages, discuss.flarum.org runs on a $ 10 digital ocean droplet with a few other personal sites of Toby. The droplet was recently upgraded during a tough DOS, now the droplet does ~ 10% cpu and less than 50% of it's 2GB memory.

luceos Untill I had the problem that I couldn't register third party JS files to use them on my site I had an install on a 2 gb VPS. For a project this big I thought it would need much higher resource allocations. Looks impressive.

I see, what comes from donations is covering the bills. But, I guess making any money out of it will be when paid extensions will be available, premium support or something like that.
