I have not been able to have users receive notifications of replies, whether in a discussion or when adding a recipient (as part of byōbu), or using @user. I am using freeflarum, where I am listed to only certain extensions.
So far I thought that was automatic. At least they were when i did limited tests as admin to user where I was replying to someone's post. But user to user, I find things not working. Either as notification in the logged in condition or via registered email.
Then it occurred to me maybe I ought to enable something such as Pusher, but am not sure that is the cause of the problem. Is something broken or are notifications limited without enabling something.
Here are test results and I would be grateful if you could tell me why I may be misunderstanding something about notifications or whether something indeed is broken.
I cannot take my forum live if Ia m not sure users will be able to see new replies and messages.
