Franz I am! 🙂 I would be even more happy if they would let me into the group that's beta-testing GitHub Actions.
Felli Franz I'm actually looking forward to this as well, I have my doubts that I'll get to be in the beta for this one though. 😆
luceos Currently the number of github actions are pretty limited. I haven't been able to replace circleci yet.
luceos Franz it's completely based off of docker images, so yes. The complexity lies in looking at the entry point and how to set up an action for it to work properly. I must confess I really haven't sat down for it to dig in deeper than that.
luceos angelarivera I did immediately after the beta release. Upon a quick inspection I noticed they are mostly based on docker images, which adds a lot of flexibility, but there weren't too many preset actions to run yet. aka not since
luceos I'm still amazed by the orbs feature of circleci. It's the kind of functionality I hoped to see in GitHub actions 😊 https://circleci.com/docs/2.0/orb-intro/
0E800 You all remind me that I'm still in gitergarten. I use git and Excel like a man using a gun as paper weight, not knowing its purpose was to shoot bullets. Thank you for bringing my attention to it. Much more to be leveraged.
