Can I create my own Flarum community in my country

Good afternoon. Tell me, can I create my own Florum community in My country (Russia), for the convenience of users from Russia? Wouldn't that violate the rights of the Flarum authors? Make translations of all modules into your language and upload them for free?

@liferent Of course! Flarum is an open-source software under the MIT license, which allows you to modify it, as long as you include the copyright and license information in your copy of the software. It is currently in Beta and using it in production isn't recommended. You can take a look at the Flarum Documentation for more information.

There are some extensions that can do that for you. Take a look at this one, however it is not compatible with the current Beta, yet. You can ask for more information there.

liferent You can make your own community with Flarum, of course.

You cannot make a community affiliated with Flarum, however. Flarum's name and logo are copyrighted, and belong to Toby. You cannot claim to be an official part of Flarum.

You can use and alter the software if you like, as @Victor12 described above.

I believe there is a Russian translation already, though you are, of course, free to make your own version.

I do not claim to copyright Flarum, I want to make a community in Russia, in which everyone who wants to be able to get help, in our native language. So about Flarum learn more users! Believe, that Creator such a good forum as Flarum, this, too, will be helpful.

I believe the OP is talking about an unofficial local support forum in Russian (for people who don't speak English).

There is no bar for that and should be fine, I think. I used https://flarum.sch.my for my country translation and testing site.
