BETA 8: Setting notification defaults

I'm kind of embarrassed to post this because the solution will be very simple (I'm a JavaScript developer, not PHP)... Previous to beta 8, I was using this extension and would like to know what file I need to edit to make emails the default for "Someone replies to one of my posts" and "Someone mentions me in a post" when a new user signs up.

Also, I think with a fresh flarum install, these should be the default. It won't be considered spam by anyone. It's actually expected... @Toby

Possibly change the:
"require": { "flarum/core": "^0.1.0-beta.6"
Check a working beta 8 extension composer.json to see if any noticeable differences.

Possibly an update to the namespace broke it?

The Friends of Flarum are currently updating some of the most requested extensions. You can fill out their form for it to be considered.

0E800 for your own information:

^0.1.0-beta.6 to composer still covers 0.1.0-beta.8 in terms of compatibility. Us (the core team) setting this as a default and being copied over on pretty much every extension was a huge mistake, because this constraint (^0.1.0-beta.6) doesn't really mark compatibility in reality.

Would someone update this extension to match beta 8 they will also update that constraint to explain to composer that it cannot be used on lower versions.

I do hope we can revive this extension over time.

Is it possible that this extension could work pending a very minor change in a line or two of code?
Or is the update so revolutionary that the extension requires a build from scratch scenario?

Is there a cookie cutter workflow that can be applied to the majority of Beta 7 compatible extensions to make them compatible? Possibly something that I could script?

I am still confused by the mention of there no longer being a User Bio. I was not aware there was a User Bio.
When I click on my avatar I am taken to the familiar page as before which shows my posts.

Besides the Sticky'd Beta 8 post, is there more documentation regarding steps to be taking to adapt previous working extensions?
