Nginx config on beta 8

Installed from scratch does not work on nginx

Even when you try to log in to the admin panel, the error is written.

The requested resource was not found.

nginx is configured correctly, I checked, perhaps new conditions were added which I do not know

well it apparently isn't 🤷‍♂️

It seems like you don't have the rule that redirects requests to index.php at all.

Can you share more about your nginx config ? Did you include Flarum's config from your server config ?

Also I see /flarum/public in the url, which might suggest you either didn't change the webroot or didn't follow the instructions to install in a custom path 😉

Maybe I didn’t follow some rules but basically I didn’t understand them
The instruction is too complicated and the code is even more confusing than the instruction.

Pirat what version of Flarum are you installing ? Those rewrites are for beta 7. The install page contains updated instructions for beta 8.

Pirat Where to add it depends on your system. Some versions of NGINX don't create the /etc/nginx/sites-available and /etc/nginx/sites-enabled folders, while others do.

Those instructions are for beta 7 and no longer work with beta 8.

What's not clear with the official documentation?

Pirat any luck? I also don't understand the beta 8 instructions. I have tried a lot of different nginx conf and none seem to work.

bertaveira Im getting stuck at the same point. Where is supposed to be this line?
Im using this path:
/var/www/html/.nginx.conf;
i added it at the end of
/etc/nginx/sites-available/default
but when i do $ nginx -t i get:

nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
