A elegant server status dashboard that is nice enough that it aught to be included with core.

With its flexibility and ease of installation, this has extension written all over it.

I was able to get a working demo up .. I am not certain of what I am doing wrong by allowing it to be publicly accessible but I also don't feel like I have my doors unlocked or flapping in the wind.

I am fairly certain that someone could use the Analytics extension as a template and replace the Piwik site with the Linux Dash elements.

I haven't dived into the code yet but it would be pretty cool if the color schemes matched the flarum site it was hosted on.

Some server providers already offer this kind of dashboard integrated on their service. For example DigitalOcean.

I see it more as an extension than into core, because the functionality is to manage server not the forum.

But... just my opinion.

I guess when I say core I meant as a core extension.
You can see what version of PHP, if services are running, if the server is under heavy load, all these things save you time from having to ssh into your server first to troubleshoot.
Sure it would be possible to customize these even further so that they represent a visual diagram of plugins most used, pages most viewed etc.

I just think it looks cool.
