How about an extension to show featured posts on top of homepage in a slider?
Now this will be different from pinned posts as pinned posts are generally which stay at top for long but featured posts will be changed in quick intervals (like weekly or monthly).
Now having a slider to show YouTube videos and Featured Members would also be awesome. This way we can show which users are performing well and contributing most.
Additional Concept: Pay to get featured. Now I haven't thought much about this but if not doing payment from this extension then atleast showing a small sponsored badge on payed post.
Rest you guys give some suggestions.
