rob006 yeah sorry I don't think we made an official written report back on this. We discussed this during the pre-stable FriendsOfFlarum meeting where we abandoned some extensions as part of our plan to reduce our workload. We discussed the same points again and agreed the remaining use cases for this extension were too specific to justify this being a FriendsOfFlarum extension.
Also, since the most useful use cases require custom code in extend.php already, the custom code might as well include the logic to listen to discussion saving and apply the slug, which is quite simple to duplicate with a local extend.php.
