Currently I have a blog in GRAV and I'm still using the old forum in phpbb while I'm preparing the new FLARUM
Today the announcement of the new phpbb version 3.2.4 and the nightmare begins: endless days trying to follow pages of instructions
For a simple update you have to disable everything, themes and custom styles, extensions and so on
Then you have to reset the default settings
Now we move to the extraction of the complete package (the absurdity: there is the update package, but they say to not use it and it's better to do everything by hand)
You must delete certain folders yourself and keep others ... endless upload and download
Then you should restore your custom styles and extensions .... which obviously no longer work
So you have to look for or wait for updates of styles and extensions
In the best case they need days, weeks, months ... or they never come and you have to change everything
Then you hope in the miracle that they eventually work
Help ! I can not wait for my FLARUM to be ready and well tested
Finally I will pass from the phpbb nightmare to the FLARUM dream 😀
