I will love an extension that lets admin/mods mark posts for the homepage/frontpage, so Frontpage also becomes the default sort/filter for posts on the homepage, allowing you to change to other filters like Latest, Top, Newest etc if you want to.

It will be cool if an extension of this nature exists, but since I'm not a techie, I just have to post and hope somebody helps out,
