[Solved ]Error: 1214 The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes

Hello friends,

first of all thanks for this amazing Flarum 😃

recently i had been installing a new instance of flarum and when I'm in the installation wizard (Setting DB name and so on) when i click "Install Flarum" it returns this error:

Something went wrong: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1214 The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes (SQL: ALTER TABLE gf_posts ENGINE = InnoDB)

Someone had experience with this error?

alebeta As far as I know, that error is because of an outdated MySQL/MariaDB version. You'll need to be running either MySQL 5.6 or higher, or MariaDB 10.0.5 or higher.
