I'm very excited to come across the Flarum project. The forum interface looks great. Quite beautiful.
Can't wait to see it ready post beta, but even now, quite nice. A lot of hard work as been put into this project.
I have a question about configuration of the search feature, if there is any, in Flarum.
When one enters a search term, the results come back fine.
But it's not always obvious to an end-user of the forum that if you click to other discussions that the search term is still applied until it is canceled.
What happens is that if the continued application of search term is not noticed by the user, they think their subsequent navigation through the other discussions may look strange. Most users may by default think the search query is finished and they are now "surfing" through the forum site.
In cases where the search term is too narrow, few or no results are returned. Clicking on other discussions, the user may think those discussions are empty or have very little activity.
Is there a way to administratively control the behavior of the forum's search function through some configuration setting?
Or clearly show that the discussion posts listed are the result of the search query term still being applied.
