I remember seeing such feature in Joomla. While installing Joomla, in third or fourth step, we see the list of necessary server side packages, scripts and services ON/OFF details. Complete system requirement checklist.
We were able to continue the installation only after passing all the essential criteria passed. i haven't tried joomla installation recently. But that will be very useful in Flarum when it hits stable or may be in next beta. It will definitely minimise the surprises we get after installation (Blank pages, errors) and blind questions in support section related to installation.
It would be great if you consider adding such feature to smooth the installation process for beginner level users like me.
