Also I'm never sure but if your SMTP server doesn't use encryption you can just leave that field blank, or fill in tls if it's secured that way. I don't think none will have any effect.

Hopefully the mail section will have a slightly better UI in the next(s) Flarum versions.

wwwn I think you didn't copy the first line of the error. The line starting with 0 is the first line of the backtrace, and should be preceded by the actual exception.

Can you post your most recent settings, because the host mail.example.com and encryption none aren't valid values for mail. Mask out your credentials.

luceos I've tried leaving the TLS, SSL and none and blank on the password section but it didn't. My final settings are as shown in the picture below. My mail server is not using encryption.

wwwn Are you running on vps? It seems mail transfer agent not installed on your server. It should be installed to sending or receiving mail, if you have postfix server etc, you should have able to send mail without filling to mail info on admin panel.
