is there any way to using space in usernames?

There are users want to use to be real names as member name. This feature is very important to me. Is that possible?

[deleted] there's no existing extension for that, but beta 8 introduced a way for extension to do it.

[deleted] If not why don't you use underscores, that's what is done usually, put an underscore anywhere a users wants a space. E.g. Joe_Bloggs instead of Joe Bloggs or JoeBloggs. Would your users be happy with that ?

Remember that spaces won't work with the mention extension.

[deleted] My screen-name is probably not the best example as I intentionally don't add spaces or underscores to it so it stays consistent across all the different platforms I use the same name on, but going on my suggestion of using underscores as an alternative if there isn't a way to use spaces it would look like Dave_The_Busker_UK which is still nice and readable.

DaveTheBuskerUK It is something that restricts user freedom. In a social platform, why do we have to use a nick, the point is it should be useable for who want to use like that.
