[deleted] what extension are you talking about ?
The core emoji extension adds the emoji dropdown when you type : as well as the emoji icon next to the formatting options (which, strangely, are displayed above the editor in your screenshot, instead of below). In your screenshot that emoji icon is behind the dropdown.
If you're referring to my own Emoji Picker extension, it's not compatible with beta 8 so it will not work.
