esoTalk migration

A few years ago, when development of esoTalk stopped, there were promises of a migration tool from esoTalk to Flarum.

With that in mind I kept esoTalk running on a couple of sites.

Wondering if there's any news on this? I ask because esoTalk breaks under PHP 7, which I need on those sites for other software.

@Franz i'm also waiting for this since a long time (in my case esotalk).
will there ever be a migration tool for esotalk, or a milestone in sight where flarum leaves beta phase?
me and my community waiting since years to migrate and don't wanna lose our content again, and sadly there is also no user created migration tool i can find.

Even though we have adopted a "promise less, deliver more" attitude and I cannot make any public statements of future releases, we do have our sights on a stable release coming year. I hope you'll be able to wait for that, I'm sure we'll do our best to provide the tooling to migrate from Esotalk soon after.

FBI thats a good tip, thanks for that. is there a free one (maybe even included in phpbb itself?) i just found migration services you have to pay.

Weltraum This is the php migration script. There is a FluxBB script as well, but it's out of date. Though I don't know how updated the phpBB script is, either.
