Admin-only discussions?

I'd like to have a discussion tag where only admin can post. For example, support.

You can configure both on the Permissions page in the admin panel. Click Restrict By Tag, and select the tag you want. Then configure the posting permission (whichever one you prefer, or both) to just the groups you want. To have tags that only certain groups can VIEW, make sure the View Discussions permission is set correctly.

I recommend having a test account (or using Flagrow Impersonate extension to double check that it's set correctly.

I want my users to VIEW the support discussion but to prevent them from posting in it.

for ex, imagine if only admins could post in the “extension” discussion (on the left).

alx that can also be handled in per-tag permissions in the Admin CP as @jordanjay29 advised 🙂

"View discussions" and "Reply to discussions " permissions is what you should be configuring for this situation.
