[deleted] I suggest some articles about ideas vs execution. There are so many ideas and ideas come freely to people. There are, however, a limited number of developers able to execute the idea. Sharing your thoughts will most likely result in you getting what you asked for sooner than keeping it to yourself.
But.. if this is somehow a play at extension developers asking money for their hard work, I'd recommend considering whether you'd be willing to sacrifice time you could spend with family, kids or on career advancement on providing (and also maintaining) extensions for free. As a maintainer of two open source packages and (co-) author of over 30 free Flarum extensions, I can guarantee this is no small feat.
I'm extremely grateful for developers to spend their valuable time on our ecosystem. To all extension developers out there, novice or expert, you rock!
