CyberGene I take your point, but that would really make it impossible for anyone who wants to read this label to do so. Users should be able to browse the forum freely and really ignore troublesome users.

Take the example of "Politics" where it's a general interest tag, but there are one or more users you don't want to read. You don't want to avoid this tag, but you do want to stop reading some threads that you know you don't need to read and that only a certain group of users open. It would be ideal to be able to ignore them without it affecting your use of the forum.

Currently, if you ignore discussions, they will be hidden from the main forum view.

However, if you ignore a user, their discussions will be visible on the main view and will only get an additional ignored badge. Is it possible to completely hide them from the main view?

P.S. just realized it’s related to the FoF Ignore Users extension, while discussion ignoring is a core feature. Maybe rename this discussion, or move this post in the FoF Ignore Users discussion?

CyberGene I came to ask the same question (asked by other members in my forum too). How can we completely hide the content of ignored users:

No discussions visible in the discussion list
No posts visible in a discussion
No quotes visible (collapsed probably)
Quotes and replies displayed as from “ignored” and not the actual name (only visible if hovered)
No likes visible, or as the above

+1 on this and all the other comments.

I've received feedback from several users on how ineffective ignore functionality is for them and for some it's turning into a dealbreaker. Would be awesome if we could beef up this functionality.
