[deleted] bohelvtu I'm subscribed now, but I found that it doesn't work on version 1.0. 🤣 I can't install it on 1.0 That's because it's not compatible yet. Waiting for @Kyrne to provide an update
Kyrne 3.0.1 Stable support Save edited core file backup for easier recovery Sorry this took a while. While no functionality changed, it needed some big changes to work with the stable version. Enjoy and report any bugs you find!
[deleted] Kyrne curious to know if this will work with blomstra/redis ? I think it will but want to check...
Darkle Kyrne Thank you very much for the update 🙌 This update fixes lazy loading and caching of images inside background-image?
[deleted] heyitsritesh I tried it - seems fine - not noticed any conflicts but have removed reflar/recache for the moment whilst I work on reducing my ever problematic TTFB 🙂
heyitsritesh [deleted] Thanks for your feedback 🙂 I have one more doubt. Doesn't this extension also have Redis caching option?
Darkle [deleted] What is the difference/benefit of having both? ReCache has redis included so I don't really understand why have 2 redis?
[deleted] heyitsritesh it does, yes, so you should choose a different database rather than the default of 1
[deleted] Darkle have a look here - I asked the same question of @luceos some time ago https://discuss.flarum.org/d/21873-redis-sessions-cache-queues/2 For the record, I'm not noticing any discernible difference in speed between either of these products, or both combined. That said, I'm sticking with theblomstra/flarum-redis for the time being, but will continue to test
Darkle [deleted] Thanks for the explanation! it will depend on the usage but image optimisation and lazy image loading for my usage are a big point of ReCache.
luceos Darkle the blomstra redis extension adds a redis based queue and sessions in addition to cache. These extensions should mix without issue.
