Sign up error mithril.js:2191 409 (Conflict)

Hi everyone.

I just installed flarum on a shared server.
Everything is working well for the moment except the registration of new users.

When I try a new registration, I receive the message "Oops something's going wrong" both in true and false debug mode.

When I check in the console of my browser I have an error:

mithril.js:2191 POST http://mywebsite.com/register 409 (Conflict).

Can you check the log files for any error message ? See https://flarum.org/docs/troubleshoot.html

Is it a stock Flarum install ? Did you instally any extension ? Can you share the output of php flarum info ?

Hes I installed some extensions. I didn't find any errors in the flarum log. I installed flarum on a shared server, so i can't run php flarum info.

Afl not having SSH access will make this more difficult to debug, but here are some leads:

I have no idea what might cause Flarum to send a 409 response, so I suspect this might not come from Flarum. Are you able to have a look at the response body of the 409 response in the Network tab of the browser dev console ?

What kind of hosting is it ? Is Flarum installed in a subfolder ? Did you use the "Customize paths" option of the installation ? https://flarum.org/docs/install.html#customizing-paths

If you moved the files to the server manually, you can run php flarum info on the local server where you generated the vendor folder.

While not necessary, can you maybe share the url of the website so we can take a look directly ?

Afl looks like an anti-bot protection your host set up. But it breaks the Flarum API.

If it doesn't happen with other urls, maybe they specifically target /register that might be an HTML registration page. But in Flarum it's a JSON endpoint.

Either find the button to disable this feature or contact your host about it.

Is there anyone who has solved this problem?
I've encountered this problem and tried to fix it for many days, but still now I couldn't fix it.
