Will be useful if you can add notification by web / email if a post if flagged.
@Justoverclock if they can implement also notification for flagged post than not need anymore an extension to email on new user post approval (that work installing this extension) and to email on flag post report.

i've noticed that i can't receive email notification even if i'm subscribed, anyone with the same problem?

Seems we activated the extension on Flarum IT,
settings are visible on the moderator and admin profile.

I activated all notifications but no email and also no web alert when a user is registered, a new post made etc.
I think I tested this extension on my Flarum and I suppose all works... if I remember not wrong I was getting emails.

On Flarum IT seems no web notifications from this extension arrive and also no email alert.
Justoverclock that is the admin, is checking the issue and maybe they need a little bit help on how to fix, diagnose how to resolve.

IanM for me the extension is not notify me when a post is waiting for approval.
I tested by registering a new user account. I use the extension first post approval. The post was pending approval but no email alert me. Version 1.1.2

To be honest also if I flag a post I never get an email.
For me this extension is not working for flagged post and queue post and I have the latest version 1.1.2

I think is not working even in Flarum.it

peopleinside I wanted to install this extension together with First Post Approval, so that I receive an email about a post that needs approval. Can you confirm this is not working? Do you at least have the Flarum notification bell?

peopleinside I've not yet had a chance to look properly at this yet, other than confirming that the issue does exists.

As soon as I have some time, I will address the problem and release a patch

CyberGene I get only bell alert, no email about post queued for moderation. Maybe also the flag post are not generating an email alert. The extension doesn't work well for me in two different communities.

Still not get any notification when a post is queued for moderation.
I am moderator at Flarum Italy and still never get email notification when a post is awaiting approval.

I hope someday a fix can come 🙂 I'm waiting for it since 2020

peopleinside I think this has no connex to this extension. There has been added notification for posts once they are approved - but there is none for moderation purposes. This should be posted as separateProposals.

GreXXL This extension does have the feature to notify for newly created posts requiring approval and flagged posts.

peopleinside I don't have a mail solution set up, but using log as my mail driver correctly outputs the emails for approval & flags in my logs. Tried it with First Post Approval as well, the email seems to be passed onto Flarum for delivery (it appears in my logs).

I understand that notifications for flagged posts and those awaiting approval have been implemented in this extension.
Disabling them remove the relative voices in my settings UI interface.

The notification settings are present but seems are not working for post in queue for moderation and maybe also for flagged post.. if I well remind the issue reported in the past. For sure new post that are awaiting moderation approval never get notified by email even if I have the option active and emails are working because they are correctly configured.

peopleinside sorry I missed that you are talking about this extension. Might this have an effect together with any other extension that you are using? For example you might have some spam moderation mechanism that has an unwanted side-effect. Might be good to share you php flarum info to see what extensions you are also using. Also can you reproduce the problem on a fresh installation just with this extension enabled?

There is no way to take php flarum info from the UI interface? Umh will be a good idea for those who hasn't access to SSH 🙂 I have access to SSH but with Plesk is a very complex and long process before I'm able to have php flarum info output... because I need use longs commands for composer different from php composer flarum info.
