m4v3rick Ralkage Feel free to submit a PR or wait until we have time to enhance this specific feature. Thanks for your answer. Right now I'm fine with waiting. We agreed on an internal workflow in the meantime.
MikeJones FriendsOfFlarum Note: This extension uses IPs from the posts posted by users. It does not track IP addresses itself. If I ban a user based on IP and then delete his spam post forever will he no longer be banned?
datitisev MikeJones That's a good question. I think the extension also uses the IP header it some places, but I'm not entirely sure of where. I think I need to revisit the logic in this extension in the future.
Communitybuilder karaok I think the community needs a little badge extension next to users name so we can attribute medals to @karaok 🤣
aaronlbpeterman Hey, are there any news about modifying extension so ppl with permission to ban IP can ban IPs ? It would be highly appreciated as there is no alternate way for my mods to prevent spammers from accessing forum. Its vital feature for a keeping community healthy.
clarkwinkelmann aaronlbpeterman are you referring to the issue described by Ralkage above? Can someone create a GitHub issue with the description so we don't forget to tackle it?
aaronlbpeterman clarkwinkelmann Indeed. I am not that familiar with github, am I able to create issue? If so I can give it a try, but my english is far from good, so... 😄 Add ability for users with permissions of ban IPs to ban IPs. Is that good?
Justman10000 Is incompatible with Flarum 1.0.2 Root composer.json requires fof/ban-ips 0.4.0 -> satisfiable by fof/ban-ips[0.4.0]. fof/ban-ips 0.4.0 requires flarum/core 0.1.0-beta.15 -> found flarum/core[v0.1.0-beta.15, v0.1.0-beta.16] but it does not match your minimum-stability.
