Just don't translate anything under admin: and you should be okay.
For the few keys in admin: that redirect to ref: keys, you'll want to replace the redirect with the English string. Either that or change the redirect key name so it's redirecting to an English string. (You can create your own keys in the ref: section for this purpose.)
